Insurance Repairs

XP Rigging has built an excellent working relationship with leading industry insurance companies, carrying out repair work to their exacting standards. We are happy to liaise directly with your insurance company, should you require us to do so.

Our insurance yacht repair includes more than just rigging, we have the capacity to also repair all hull and deck damage, for example paint, varnishing & gel coat and marine joinery.

The work carried out is conducted with you in mind, ensuring the process is smooth throughout and within your requirements and budget. Our start to finish service includes:

Mooring Lines

XP Rigging understands that the right mooring lines and strops are fundamental to the safety and security of your vessel. We work closely with premium brands in order to supply your vessel with mooring lines and strops to suit your requirements.

Splices are all carried out in-house to exacting manufacturers standards using a combination of science and experience to deliver the correct splice every time. Our workshop has samples of all sizes and different splices for you to view if required.

We can provide bespoke protection to your rope from harsh weather and chafing including:

  • Any leather work for protection of eyes which is sympathetic to yachts gunwales
  • Plastic tubing that can be applied to ‘Y’ strops or other swing mooring tackle

Mooring strops and lines can be tailored to suit your budget, we also provide overseas delivery if required and have the capability to cater for all sizes of yachts and super yachts.

Architectural Wires

Rigging isn’t restrained to purely the marine industry. XP Rigging has the capability to apply our trade to the building industry from personal projects including homes and gardens to implementation of architectural concepts. We carry architectural wires and fittings in stock at our workshop and are fully mobile to work on site should your project require this.

  • Suspended structures and canopy supports
  • Decorative wires
