We have recently fitted two new Facnor FlatDeck FD230 furlers onto two well known cruiser / racers in Poole Harbour. The Elan 400 and Elan 410 owner's wanted to improve ease of Genoa sail handling but retain the maximum sail area for performance and chose a conversion from Tuff Luff to Facnor FlatDeck because:
- Maximum Luff length
- Tape driven
- Increased torque
